If you’ve ever thought model trains were neat, then you must visit S & S Railroad Park and Museum. The park, located in Farmington, is home to over 20 miniature trains that you can actually ride. That’s right; models are big enough that you can take a ride on a working model of either a coal bringing, hydraulic, or electric train. Steve Flanders created the park after he retired just as a hobby. But when people started lining up to see his miniature trains and maybe catch a ride, he decided to open the park to the public. The park is open Monday through Thursday and trains depart every half hour. Come and see for yourself all of Davis County’s fun and exciting attractions. It’s the perfect getaway for you and the whole family! |
