Get Lost in Our Mountains - Find Yourself in Our Powder! The Davis Area CVB is joining with Ski Utah for our biggest ad campaign ever. It's a White Sale of bargains, as you Follow the Powder through our nearby mountains and stay in our accomodating accomodations! Stay tuned! The Resorts don't close for the summer... here's what's going on at Snowbasin: Through Oct 2: Resort open on Saturdays and Sundays. See below August 28: Mt. Ogden 50/100k Endurance Mountain Bike Race Sept 24 - 25: XTERRA USA Championships Through Oct 2 ( Open Saturdays and Sundays only for): Gondola: Needles gondola will be running for scenic gondola rides and access to hiking, mountain biking and award-winning cuisine. Mountain Bikes: Snowbasin's single-track trails are well maintained and wind through scenic aspen groves and gladed pines. All levels of riding and available from the base with more than 26 miles of trails that connect to additional Forest Service trails for nearly 50 miles of adventure! Enjoy lower trails with shuttle service back to the base on the weekends. Disk (Frisbee) Golf: 9-hole disc course utilizing natural terrain features for the hazards. There are no green fees. Rentals: Disc golf equipment rentals and score cards are available in the Grizzly Center, where a rental fleet of full-suspension bikes with hydraulic disc brakes are are also available. Base Operation Schedule: The Grizzly Center is open on Saturday and Sunday from 9am - 5pm in the shoulder season, with extended hours of operation once the summer season is in full swing. Dining: Mountain top dining with panoramic views is served at Needles Lodge on Saturday evening and Sunday for an elegant brunch. Reservations are required for Needles dining. Davis County is central to Utah's best ski resorts: with Snowbasin and Powder Mountain on the north, and the major Wasatch resorts to the south. We'll arrange for some great hotel rates with our local partners, you figure out the best airfare, and we'll pick you up at the airport and transfer you to your hotel. We'll determine which of the 10 Utah resorts has the best powder, and we'll supply powder guides to get you down the hill. We'll recommend the best of our 250 restaurants, and we'll also host a beer and wine social on your arrival.
